The digital devices enabled Participants to gain access to employability and job support applications such as Office 365 and Zoom. This support was very much appreciated by Participants, considering the impact of COVID-19 including the closures of libraries and internet cafes.

HARINGEY COMMUNITY GOLD YOUNG LONDON FUND

Haringey Community Gold is a project that targets young people, aged 16-21 living in Haringey and surrounding boroughs by helping them discover their talents as well as fulfil their potential. Funded by the Mayor’s Young Londoners Fund, the project is delivered by a consortium of 10 cross sector partners. Led by Haringey Council and NLPC as the Managing Agent. The range of service provision includes community outreach engagement, mental wealth and wellbeing, sports and recreational activity, healthy eating and physical wellbeing, leadership mentoring and employment.

This project aims to provide aspirational and positive activities to help support young people to make positive choices and reach their potential. Give new options to young people most at risk of taking the wrong path and stop them getting involved in violence and criminal activity. Improve coordination and capacity of London’s youth offer so more young people can access services

KICKSTART ASSIST

The Kickstart Scheme is a £2 billion fund to create hundreds of thousands of  quality 6-month work placements (minimum of 25 hrs per week) for young people aged 16 to 24.

Our experience in working with employers in all sectors has allowed us to manage different recruitment needs. At challenging times, it is important that your business can grow and get the staff you need. We are here to help, and our service is funded by the government, so there is no charge to you.
