Hope Arise Project

The Hope Arise Project, funded by the Community Fund, is a partnership between NLPC, Wellbeing Connect Services, and Freedom’s Ark Church, that serves as a comprehensive One-Stop Community and Family Hub for residents of Haringey and Enfield.

This project provides holistic, integrated support guided by a “No Wrong Door” approach, ensuring that anyone seeking help can access career guidance, psychological assistance, and social care through a single, seamless entry point. This inclusive project is specifically designed to meet the needs of families and individuals of all ages, offering a vital lifeline to those navigating emotional or mental health challenges within the community.

We don’t just help you find a job – we help you build a career. Every participant is matched with a dedicated advisor who provides support throughout the entire journey.

Job readiness: Initial assessments, career action plans, and creating/updating your CV.

Skill building: Interview skills training and sector-specific tasters.

Placement & Growth: Job brokerage, employer-led opportunities, and work experience placements.

Entrepreneurship: Support for self-employment and business start-ups.

Sustainability: We stay with you after you land the role with post-job start and sustainability support.

 Mental health: Access to talking therapy, professional counselling, and advocacy.

 Family & Parenting: Parental guidance, family mediation, and domestic violence support.

 Youth support: Mentoring and school/community engagement.

 Practical advocacy: Expert assistance with housing, immigration, debt, and criminal justice matters.

 Crisis intervention: Immediate help with welfare benefits and access to foodbanks.
