Brighter Futures

Brighter Futures Project

About the Project

NLPC Ltd and Consortium Partner Organisations (Harris Academy Tottenham, Mind in Haringey, Haringey Council) have formed this partnership to deliver the Brighter Futures programme, funded by the Youth Futures Foundation (an independent not-for-profit organisation working to improve employment outcomes for young people from marginalised backgrounds), through its Connected Futures Fund.

Brighter Futures Project partners are undertaking an integrated research/consultation on the effectiveness, impact, and the application of the Gatsby Benchmarks (framework for career provisions in schools and colleges, enriched in statutory guidance) to respond to the needs of pupils within the East of Haringey Borough. The work is based on a youth-led/co-designed, stakeholder-inclusive, multi-agency approach focused on early intervention by examining the use, effectiveness, and impact of the Gatsby Benchmarks in schools/colleges, emphasising employment/enterprise offers for young people.
