Our commissioned research and consultancy work involves developing creative quality assured practical solutions for clients. We believe in adopting a professional approach, that is innovative, value for money and responsive to the needs of our clients. Our consultants and associates have the experience and expertise to deliver the bespoke analysis, research and insight to help clients achieve their objectives.

Our clients benefit from our project consultants wealth of experience in applying strategic reasoning to tackle real issues. Our experience has included undertaking rigorous and robust socio-economic analysis into clear, achievable strategic priorities. We help clients implement transitional arrangements for new or existing projects. We provide short to medium term interim project management and draw on a wide range of experience across all areas of regeneration and socio-economic development.

Our Research and Consultancy Approach

At CIRU, our approach is based on the combined results of our associates’ experience in providing quality assured management and consultancy spanning over 30 years. Our practice is designed to attain the highest quality standards, and intellectual rigour that will meet and satisfy each client’s needs. This is underpinned by quality assurance systems, including:

  • A Project Action Plan which identifies, for each project, a delivery framework, key project participants, key staff, key outputs/outcomes and milestones.
  • A Project Quality Manager responsible for all quality frameworks, including project evaluation.
  • A Rigorous Peer Review process, on all research/consultations from desk research to final recommendations.
  • A Post-Assignment Review, which includes client exit interviews and feedback questionnaires.
  • Our quality assurance systems are underpinned by operational policies and procedures relating to our practices, including: GDPR, Equality Opportunity and Ethical Policy.
